Tomorrow is National No Bra Day (13th October) in order to keep awareness of breast cancer in our consciousness. I’d also add it’s a timely reminder that bras shouldn’t leave any marks after use, should you choose to wear them (because they can affect so much!).
It seems fitting therefore that today I worked with an amazing lady who had had breast cancer. We worked on lumpectomy, mastectomy, reconstruction, and nipple reconstruction and relocation scars in a combined pattern linking to knee and shoulder issues.
I am so grateful to all the men and women who share their scars with me. Whether they make it on to these platforms to help advertise what I do or not, is not the important bit. Helping them achieve comfort / peace / movement / release / acceptance is why I do what I do ❤️
For the geeks out there, there were some really cool releases and stims required, and whilst I haven’t received permission to show the work on social media, if I ever get the scar course which is rattling around in my head down on to paper, it will most definitely feature in there 🤩
Experience the difference – A refreshingly different approach to pain and dysfunction, so you can breathe better, move better, to live better.
