There are two main types of scoliosis, functional and structural. We can work with both, as even structural scoliosis often has a functional element to it.
Taking a gentle, holistic approach – tackling the physical, meta-physical and physiological issues – can yield massive improvements, but even incremental changes can provide some welcome relief from the pain and discomfort even mild scoliosis can bring.
In the video attached, we used the ScoliMethod, to identify and release a fascial restriction, responsible for much of what was going on, in this 30+ year old scoliosis.
We followed this with gentle, specific activations to start correcting the scoliosis which was present.
The video shows the fascial release required – look for the skin reddening (to make this easier I used the blue dotted lines to highlight the boarders before recording).
Immediate results => much straighter spine, better breathing dynamics and pelvic floor stability. There is more physical work to do around the pelvis and jaw, and some further self love required, but this was a great result from the one session.
Itβs a truly amazing process to be part of ππ»
