Breathing difficulties still?

Three weeks after being released from hospital for back to back pneumonia infections, a client presents still feeling breathless.

There were three keys elements to this treatment:
1. Work on the scarring which had occurred to the lungs / plural lining.
2. Work on the limbic emotional associations linked to hospitalisation.
3. Work on the breathing system, the pelvic floor had become dysfunctional with all the coughing.

End result, big lungs full of air, a breathing system which was working again, and a much less anxious client 👍🏻

The biggest improvement came when working on the emotional aspects. Your emotions are a big component of what we do in clinic. But you don’t need to talk them out.
That’s not what it’s about. However, something which is powerful enough to stop you in your tracks and force you to take rest – it happens to the best of us – often needs to be addressed as part of the process in healing the physical body (your aches and pains) as well.
