“Can I do **[insert chosen physical activity]** after it’s (the thing causing the problem) been sorted”
I get asked this a lot.
A gymnasts belly button ring that’s been causing issues – maybe once the dysfunction is resolved.
A cyclist whose neck extensors were knocking out their SIJ – for sure, if you work on your breathing, and build your cross patterning before competing again.
A causal runner who is affected by EM – typically not. Some people can never do vigorous activity / complex movements without causing issues when EM is very close or touching them (think smart phones / watches). For others drastic lifestyle changes are required to restore balance to their body, and things can improve. It’s a big change but for some people it’s that important.
So in the most part, yes 😊 if you’re prepared to work for it. It took time for these dysfunctions to take hold, it will take time and patience to get your movement patterns back fully 🧠💪🏻
Experience the difference – A refreshingly different approach to pain and dysfunction, so you can breathe better, move better, to live better.
