Scars and perturbation testing

A client returned to clinic after taking on and assimilating the corrections from the last session. Happy days 🤩
Today as part of their treatment plan we were looking at the long kinetic chains and using perturbation tests to do that. It’s not exhaustive, but in clinic we look at 16 points on the body to challenge and evaluate how both the structural and nervous systems respond.
We found that all points on the front and back of the body failed, the left side of the head, the right hip and knee 😳
It makes me chuckle sometimes when people realise they’re failing* all these test, as they often joke ‘it’s a miracle I can stand up at all’ 🤣
As we all know, our body’s are reeeeeally good at adapting, it’s just with the specific testing it makes it much easier for me to see any dysfunctions which might be there 👍

Back on topic, we found a series of scars (tattoos) where linked to the dysfunctional kinetics. Treating these meant all areas passed without issue, except the front and back of the head, which whilst improved, weren’t solid.
A small amount of work to the foot diaphragms and a cranial correction and they passed too (even after agitating the source of the original dysfunction) 👨🏻‍🎓
Moving should be a lot easier from now on in 👍

*a failed test provides far more information than a pass, so in clinic, it’s not actually a bad thing 😉
