Trouble breathing during pregnancy

Another great result for remote sessions 🤩

A mum I’m working with, who’s just entering the third trimester, had been having trouble breathing. A scan confirmed the baby’s head was sat under their ribs. We did some alignment work, looking specifically at the four main diaphragms and ran through some drills to do at home.

Immediate feedback was great, and was still doing well the following morning. Things deteriorated over the next few days however 😞
We arranged a further session to evaluate how the homework was being done. To the untrained eye it looked about the same as the videos up on YouTube, things did however needed some tweaking. After much coaching, and getting the client to understand and feel in their body what the changes felt like, along with some specific cues for their specific needs, we were back to breathing free and easy.

Almost a week later things are still doing well, AND the baby has spontaneously turned as well.
Remote or on line appointments aren’t always treatment sessions, sometimes we do guided movement and specific exercises, sometimes we analyse and optimise homework drills and sometimes we combine all three.
😊
